The Natural Rug Store launches sample service

A new service launched by The Natural Rug Store (www.naturalrugstore.co.uk) takes the risk out of rug-buying. The Natural Rug Store's sample ordering service means that rug-buyers and interior designers can experience the quality and the finish first-hand before they commit to a purchase. They can also see how any chosen combination of weave and colour looks within any given room.

Using the new rug-sample service is easy. Designers and buyers click the 'order sample' link below their chosen rug and complete their details. The service applies across the board. Any rug selected online at The Natural Rug Store can be ordered as a sample, including standard designs from within their Classic or Trend Collections or one-off bespoke designs.

Research undertaken by the team at The Natural Rug Store shows that rug-buyers often struggle to get colour combinations in the home just right. To minimise the chance of a customer being disappointed by a rug choice, they made their new sample service open-ended: online rug-buyers can order up to four samples at any one time. Delivery of rug samples is fast. The Natural Rug Store say they can get samples to customers within two to three working days.

The choice of rugs at The Natural Rug Store is huge; all are made from natural materials. The main body of the rug can be jute, wool, sisal, bamboo, coir, seagrass, or paper, while the borders are made from cotton, linen, leather, moot, pepper, picallo, or suede. By choosing a particular combination of base and border materials, weave patterns, border styles (single, double, or with piping), and colours, online rug designers can create an almost limitless range of designs. With so many options to choose from, and so much variety in the finished result, there's clearly a market need for interior designers and rug-buyers to see a sample before committing to a purchase.

That's why the new sample service makes rug-buying almost risk-free. Online customers do not have to commit to purchasing a rug when they order their samples. If they don't like the sample, they can ask for another or decide to look elsewhere for their flooring materials. According to The Natural Rug Store, most customers still choose to buy their rugs from an online retailer they trust.
